Airtel also bringing Apple iPhone to India!
Vodafone has already announced their plans to launch the iPhone in the Indian market before the end of the year.
Now India’s largest private telecom player Airtel has announced that they are collaborating with Apple to bring the iPhone in India.
A company representative said: “Bharti Airtel has signed a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to India later this year.”
No pricing information has been released by Airtel as well. It is also unlikely that these two players would get the rumored 3G edition of the iPhone for sale in the Indian market.
Both the companies have also not revealed any details on the launch date. It would be interesting to see which one launches the iPhone in the market first as it would get a slight advantage over the other.
