ETH Air TV: Sterling Group to launch DTH operations next year

Sterling Group has announced that they are working on launching their own DTH operations in the country next year.

This new service would be branded ETH Air TV.

They have already had talks with the ISRO and would get six transponders on the Insat 4G satellite.

The company said that they would focus on the educational content on their service to differentiate it from rival services.

ETH in the brand name stands for Education to Home!

Reliance and Bharti along with Videocon are other three companies which are coming out with their DTH platform in the near future.
