Onmobile Global and Airtel collaborates to provide data retrieval service
India mobile service provider Airtel has announced that they are now collaborating with Onmobile Global.
The two companies would now provide a data retrieval service to the Airtel customers allowing them to get their data from stolen or lost mobile phones.
However, the service would only support high end mobile phones capable of running Java.
The company said that the service would allow the user to get back their data elements including videos, contacts, images and other files stored in memory.
The service would be free initially. Indosat of Indonesia and Maxis of Malaysia are two other mobile service providers who are working with Onmobile Global to provide this service to their customers.
