Sify Broadband fries a customer’s laptop
Sify Broadband continues to provide broadband services through LAN cables which travel on rooftops, trees and electric poles.
This means that the LAN cables sometime comes in contact with the electric wiring resulting in electricity traveling to customer’s computers through the network cables.
A member on the India Broadband Forum reported that his laptop got badly damaged in one such incident.
