Sony Ericsson interested in Spice Mobile!
Market sources claim that Sony Ericsson is interested in acquiring Indian mobile phone maker Spice Mobile.
Spice Mobile sells their handsets through the Spice mobile service provider.
Reports claim that Spice Mobile is asking for a price of Rs 80-100 per share. It puts the value of the company at around Rs 700 crore.
Spice Mobile shares are currently priced at around Rs 22 at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Inside sources say that Spice Mobile had initially contacted Sony Ericsson for a wide-ranging collaboration and partnership.
