MTNL launches Mobile TV, reduces Broadband prices
State owned telecom company MTNL had a couple of surprise announcements for their customers.
The company has announced the launch of their mobile security initiative. MTNL has launched their new service Micro LMTS (Lost Mobile Tracking System).
MTNL customers can now avail this service by paying Rs. 30 per month. They are using technology provided by Micro Technologies for this service.
MTNL’s broadband customers in Delhi have some major good news. The company has slashed the prices of broadband packages by as much as 50%. So they can expect a drop in their telephone bills in the coming months.
MTNL also launched their Mobile TV services. They are offering 20 television channels currently which can be watched on compatible mobile devices. This service is available for Rs.99 a month.
