Airtel matches Vodafone for iPhone 3G prices in India

No surprises for the Indian customers as Airtel has matched the prices announced by Vodafone for the iPhone 3G.

Apple iPhone 3G would go on sale in the Indian market on August 22. Both Vodafone and Airtel are launching it on the same day.

Airtel is offering the iPhone at following prices:

1. 8 GB (Black) for Rs 31000
2. 16GB (White & Black) for Rs 36100

These are the same prices announced by Vodafone earlier today.

So, Apple fans have now little hope to get their hands on an iPhone without spending a fortune.

We are still waiting for details on the packages for the iPhone.
