Broadband Mess: From CTO to Sify Broadband

It is funny to observe how my broadband hassles have moved on from the CTO to the parent company Sify Broadband. Maybe the reason behind this is that earlier I never actually cared about the packages coz my connectivity was very bad.

Now that the local Cable Guy has fixed my local network, the problem moves on to the broadband provider. Having introduced newer packages, they have managed to screw it all for me. The worse thing is that I can no longer even blame the CTO. He has his own hassles with the parent company some of which I came to know from the cable guy himself.

The end result is that, the end customer is not the only one frustrated with Sify Broadband… even the distributors are angry. Which later lead to inconvenience for the customers as the CTOs take it out on them.

I am not sure what I can expect in the near future. Both Tata Indicom and Airtel Broadband should be arriving sometime in the near future in Chandigarh. But will they be providing services in Panchkula? I have my doubts.

They are practically leading to a situation I am considering moving to Gurgaon permanently. God, I hate that city ever since the Mall Culture arrived… but at least I got better alternatives there. Sify Broadband is practically causing damage to my business plans. And I do not have much time to wait for Reliance or BSNL to set shops here.
