A Mac user on Sify Broadband

Hi fellow Sify loathers!
Since Saturday morning my net has suddenly decided to go AWOL on me. I am a mac user so I am using the Mac Dialler Client that those monkeys put together.. and lemme tell you.. it’s the most shoddy piece of programming I have ever seen. But at least they have it for the mac so its better than nothing i suppose. Anyways, the dialler wont launch unless there is a proper net connection.. so i’ve been clicking on it and it just wont open. I’ve called up customer service like 50 times and they say the same thing.. I’m sorry sir, i’ll forward your request to our technical team. LOL. ANyways, I havent heard from anyone.. so is there anyone here who can help me? My IP says i’m connected to the internet..but when i try pinging the gateway it says host is down. This is so frustrating! The dialer wont even open so I can even check out the so called troubleshooting section.
SIfy has made my life a living hell.. it’s only the consequences of the law that is holding my rage back!!

even i am stuck with this sify shit. the dialer times out and this is the first, in my life experience, that a broadband dialer gets timed out... ha ha ha.
btw, coming to ur problem, this is what sify calls BB101 error. you need to call those A**H**ES and say that you got BB101 and you are not able to ping the gateway.
