MTNL could test launch 3G in Delhi this month
Department of Telecom has hinted that stated owned telecom company MTNL is all set to test launch their 3G services in Delhi this month.
Both MTNL and BSNL have already received the permissions to start their 3G network operations in the country.
MTNL could start providing these services in the major parts of the cities during the testing period.
The aim is to launch the full network before the end of the year.
Mumbai should have the MTNL’s 3G network by January next year.
MTNL has stated that they aim to install 7,50,000 GSM lines in Delhi and Mumbai each to provide its 3G services.
