Another minor breakdown

Net was down since morning and it took the person (who has to take care of the entire Panchkula region) 3.5 hours to come to my rescue. Better than 26 hours they took last time…
EEEeeeks. Sorry. The uptime lasted for 2 hrs. It’s 930 pm and it just got on again. So, apparently net worked for only 2 hours in the whole day. And this time, the area representative himself had to come in his car, climb the pole (he claimed he did) and reseted the faulty switch as all the local boys had left for the day. So much for customer support…
Here is my latest mail:
Hi,
Perhaps I gave a little too much credit to your efforts when I wrote my last mail on Sunday. Net is down since morning. It worked for around 2 hours in the afternoon after the linesman fixed it after 3 hours of me registering a complaint. I am still waiting for him to visit me again and fix it for me. Lost my entire day’s worth of work and the best your local support guy has to say is to get fibre cable. Now this sucks. I am the only person in the whole sector 6 with net down and your people are unable to locate the problem so I have to get fibre cable connectivity. Think you should really mention that in your brochure.
If our local cable guys are found to be incompetant, you would have to shell out a bomb to get rid of their pathetic service.
I know 2 more people (both in Mumbai) who are extremely disappointed by Sify Broadband so this trend seems to be pretty wide spread. I fear if a 100 meter long cable that is coming to my house from your pole costed me 3500 bucks how much a fibre cable connectivity to my home cost me. Just to get 24 hrs reliable net. Maybe you can learn a few things on how Bharti Touchtel DSL works. They took 1500 as installation for totally underground network and their internet was rock solid stable. I got a downtime of 50 seconds (I checked my watch) in 40 days. Here I am getting 50 hrs in a week.
Regards
Sushubh
Well, its 930 pm and ur main guy in panchkula himself came in his car and got my net fixed (he allegedly climbed the pole himself) as all the boys had left for the day… Whom do I blame for my unreliable net??? I am confused… I feel bad calling him (Mr. Ashwini) all the time but I actually have no choice…
