MTN might enter the Indian market!
Africa’s largest telecom player MTN was recently in news as a potential acquisition target for both Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications.
However, none of the deals could be completed.
The latest reports in the media states that MTN is now considering plans to enter the Indian market!
They could potentially become a rival to both Airtel and Reliance here in India.
Market sources say that the company is looking for potential partners to enter the Indian market as a mobile operator.
MTN is one of the 10 largest telecom service providers in the world and they could do well here in India with their vast experience.
