Bharti Airtel has no immediate plans for acquisitions abroad
Bharti Airtel has said that they currently have no immediate plans to acquire any company in the international market.
The company however is open to any possible deal that might interest them in the coming months.
Bharti Chairman Sunil Mittal said in a statement: “There are plans, but there is no immediate target.”
He added that the valuation of telecom companies around the world have eased which makes it a good deal for them to ahead with.
Bharti was in talks with MTN earlier this year but the deal could not be reached as the terms were not acceptable to the India’s largest private telecom player.
