7.7 million new mobile customers in India last month
Indian mobile market continues to see the boom it has been seeing since the last couple of years.
India saw addition of 7.7 million new mobile subscribers in the month of October.
This is a record of its kind.
With this the country now has 241.4 million GSM mobile customers.
India’s leading player Bharti Airtel added 2.72 million new users in October. Vodafone India added 2.1 million new customers.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited added 669,551 new users. Idea did well by adding 1.2 million users in October.
