India adds 10.81 million mobile subscribers last month
Indian telecom industry continues to shine as the country saw an addition of 10.81 million mobile subscribers in December 2008.
This was higher than 10.35 mobile subscribers which were added in November last year.
These figures were revealed by TRAI.
With this, the country now has around 384.79 million telecom subscribers overall. This comes to a an overall tele-density of 33.23%.
India continues to remain one of the fastest growing telecom markets in the world.
