The irony of limited unlimited broadband plans from Airtel Broadband
Airtel is now limiting the unlimitness of their unlimited broadband plans.
The company offers their broadband plans claiming we would be able to do so much on them.
Sometimes, they even refer the high speeds of the plans by suggesting that we would be able to download a song in so many seconds.
The basic logic states, we do not need 512kbps or 1mbps plans for casual surfing or checking emails.
Customers going for these high speed plans know why they are going for them and that is for using them to do much more than just casual browsing or email checking.
In fact, these are the plans taken by people who need more bandwidth in addition to more speeds.
Checking YouTube videos, making huge downloads. Do not ask the morality of what we download. That is my business. I am paying for what you are asking me. Please deliver what you promised me in the first place.
Anyone who is paying 2500 rupees for a 1 mbps unlimited plan is not going to use it for casual surfing. He is going to use it for things which require 1 mbps speeds. Why are you offering it in the first place if you are not going to let him use it without the fears of crossing certain limits and getting restricted?
