Bharti Airtel has a management shuffle
India’s leading telecom company Bharti Airtel has announced some management changes…
Manoj Kohli, CEO and Joint Managing Director would now focus on strategy development, governance and organization development.
President of Mobile Services Sanjay Kapoor has been named the new Deputy CEO. He would look after the company’s Mobile, Telemedia and DTH businesses.
Atul Bindal is the new President of Mobile Services.
K. Srinivas is the new Joint President of Telemedia Services.
Bharti Airtel Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Mittal spoke about the new developments in the company: “Over the last couple of years, we have been able to build a world-class organization. The company has grown not just in terms of revenue and market share but also in terms of strengthened processes, capabilities and governance. It has been our endeavor to empower our top management team, which has performed very well and is amongst the finest in the telecom world.”
