Airtel Fair Usage Policy might now be for old customers only

Airtel Broadband continues to play more games with their customer base.

After launching the Fair Usage Policy in some cities in the market, they went on to remove some limits.

The latest information with us is that the company might now be applying the limits on only the older customer base.

A mail from the Airtel customer care states that the limits are applicable to customers who are more than 6 months old.

This is a clear case of discrimination. Airtel is not being FAIR if they are going to selectively apply the policy when they should NOT be applying the policy on any of their customers.

The response also does not clearly state whether the FUP would apply to new customers after they have been on their network for 6 months.

The language of the response is pretty disappointing. Spelling mistakes and poor grammar. I am not an expert of the English language but that email response is just a piece of frustration thrown at the customer.
