Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus has a limit of 10GB on unlimited plans

Reliance recently launched their Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus mobile broadband service.

The company at launched claimed that this is the fastest mobile broadband service currently available in India.

Reliance said that the service would be great for video conferencing and other data intensive tasks.

However, they forgot to mention that the service would come with a 10GB data transfer limit even on the unlimited plans.

If the user crosses the limit, he would be required to pay Rs. 2 per MB of data transfer.

This comes to around Rs. 2048 for every extra Gigabyte of data transfer!

What we want are unlimited plans at lower prices and not these crappy capped plans.

The speed offered ranges between 230-400kbps at the highest! And this also keeps fluctuating regularly. The service isn’t that great and the signal strength is very weak! Shame to say that its the fastest mobile broadband service currently available in India. And for worse you have to wait for more than 20 minutes to speak to a customer care executive, and still no use, you don’t find any solution for your queries. So, please don’t waste your money on this scrap. It’s a request coz am suffering now by making a big mistake.

    I have a doubt.
I am on the 10GB plan and I’m scared that I might exceed it.
How much MB is approximately taken up when we buffer a 60 minute video?
    Can someone help?
