Telenor acquires 33.5 per cent in Unitech Wireless
Telnor and Unitech have completed the first phase of their deal.
Telnor has now acquired 33.5 per cent in Unitech Wireless with the completion of the first phase of their agreement.
Telenor already operates in several international markets including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and Thailand.
They are now trying to enter the Indian market with this investment.
Telenor aims to acquire 67.25 per cent in Unitech Wireless. The deal would require approval from the regulatory bodies.
