Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited latest to launch Blackberry services in India

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced the launch of Blackberry services on their network in the Indian market.

BSNL chairman-cum-managing director Kuldeep Goyal spoke about these services: “Blackberry services bring together smart phones and software services to provide customers with easy wireless access to email, phone, web and multimedia applications.”

They are not alone as Reliance Communications, Airtel, Vodafone and Tata Teleservices are already offering RIM Blackberry services in the domestic market.

BSNL added: “This move will certainly strengthen our presence in the Indian telecom market. BSNL is providing Blackberry solutions on 3G services for the first time in India.”

BSNL and MTNL are the only telecom provider currently offering 3G services in the market.
