Tata Teleservices Maharashtra launches 100mbps connection in Mumbai

This is the good part.

Now, the sad part.

The company is going to charge Rs. 10500 a month and this Power Launcher plan has a data transfer limit of 30GB.

Unbelievable? We are surprised too.

A connection with speeds of 100mbps can download 30GB data in a matter of hours if not days.

A GB of usage per day is not much these days. We are not sure what Tata had in mind when they decided to launch this plan with such stupid data transfer limits.

Mukund Rajan, managing director of TTML and board member of Tata Teleservices (TTSL) spoke about this plan: “It is a somewhat niche product. We are working on a host of intra-city services and will make announcements very soon.”

What we want are unlimited plans at lower prices and not these crappy capped palns.

Another useless offer with ‘download cap’. I download MUCH more than that on my 512kbps connection. why would I want a 100mbps connection if not for downloading?

Which ’segment’ exactly are Tata’s eyeing – ‘The non existant statement!’
