MTNL 3G launched in Mumbai
MTNL has launched their 3G services in the Mumbai city. It would be available starting next month.
Incidentally, the packages on offer are cheaper than the packages offered by MTNL in Delhi.
This is strange as customers in Mumbai usually end up paying more for same services compared to other parts of the country.
Looks like MTNL has learnt its lesson with the poor response to the launch of 3G services in Delhi.
In Mumbai, MTNL is basically charging Rs. 3 per MB. In Delhi, the charges were close to Rs. 5 per MB.
Unlimited packages are available at around Rs. 2500.
While roaming, the charges are pretty high at Rs. 10 per MB.
