Tata DOCOMO to invest heavily to expand network in the country
Tata DOCOMO is the GSM branch of the Tata Teleservices Limited.
The company already is a major provider of CDMA powered mobile services in the country.
They are now aiming to become a giant in the GSM mobile services market.
Reliance has already launched their pan-India GSM services and now Tata has plans to do the same.
Tata DOCOMO has already launched its operations in several states in the Southern India.
The company is now planning to invest about Rs 10,000 crore this year to expand its network in the country.
Tata said: “We plan to invest two billion dollars for our GSM pan-Indian services, while about Rs 350 crore investments is planned for Orissa this year.”
The company has launched their pay as you use scheme for GSM customers enabling them to pay for usage per second.

tata docomo has already launched in south india…its got a lot of exciting offers…the main one being the 1 paisa/sec one…i especially am really going ga ga over this one as its the one that has benfitted me the most..i mean now i’m not getting overcharged for those small 10-20 sec calls!! also while in office i can play cool games on their website ;-)..go on ppl spoil yurselves (http://www.tatadocomo.com/dive-in.aspx)

got a docomo connection ..n tata has not put me down..it has gud network coverage n also the per second billing is vry gud..happy to gt a connection..pls provide more sms plan n you will rock the telecom world :) ..
