Tata DOCOMO to arrive in Mumbai today
Tata has revealed that their DOCOMO branded GSM mobile services would be launched in Mumbai city today.
With this, they would become the 11th mobile service provider in this congested and highly competitive mobile market.
Tata is already present in the Mumbai region with their Indicom branded CDMA services.
The company could make available their same innovative pricing scheme in Mumbai to take away customers from rival services.
Tata DOCOMO has created a buzz in the Indian market by offering packages that costs 1 paisa per second of usage.
Mumbai currently has around 20.4 million subscribers and Vodafone dominates this market.
