Micromax H360 3G smartphone from MTNL

Micromax H360 has now become the cheapest 3G smartphone in the Indian market.

This handset has been launched by MTNL in collaboration with Micromax.

It would be available with the MTNL 3G Jadoo service which is available in Delhi and Mumbai cities.

The price of this new smartphone is set at Rs. 5500 which is much lower than comparable handsets from rival companies.

Micromax spoke about this product: “This 3G handset will be for the masses, a breakaway from the expensive handsets available in the market”.

3G service launch has been pretty disappointing for both MTNL and BSNL because of high prices and lack of low price handsets.

Private operators are yet to get the relevant licenses from the government which has resulted in no competition in this segment of the market.
