Tata DOCOMO News: Unlimited GPRS Plans and an Animation Contest
TATA DOCOMO has some good news for their customers. The company has finally come out with their unlimited GPRS plans as they had promised.
The company is now offering two plans for unlimited GPRS usage:
Rs. 15 GPRS Pack: Works for 3 days
Rs. 95 GPRS Pack: Works for 30 days
These two packages are only application on TATADOCOMO home and roaming networks.
The company has also launched a new Animation Contest. Tata DOCOMO had this to say about the contest:
“Tata Docomo has announced a unique Animation Contest. This is great because they are encouraging animators to be creative with their own brand which is something that has not been done by too many companies out there. The animators will be required to come up with a short 2D animation clip (5-60 secs) using the Tata Docomo logos and tune. Those who impress the jury with their animations will win 1 lakh rupees each! That’s not all, their work can also be telecast on TV channels! The contest starts on the 18th of September and the end date is on the 31st of October. Those who want to give it a shot can visit ‘create.tatadocomo.com’, read the brief and let their creativity do the talking!”

it's good that the mobile market is growing fast, but India should see the growth in BROADBAND sector also which is much more important, BROADBAND sector should be given the first Priority, in countries like South Korea and Japan u get like 100 Mbps for less than 20$ and in India V don't even get 2 Mbps properly and true broadband is only when it is unlimited, hope Airtel focuses more on broadband than mobile now and provide higher Broadband speeds at reasonable prices..

hey i heard docomo has changed thr rules..they hav nt restricited it to 2D nw…nw the animators cn use all forms of animation..thats vry exciting..
