BSNL moving all unlimited customers to Fair Usage Policy enabled plans?

A member of the India Broadband Forum has stated that as per his conversation with the location BSNL officer, all the broadband customers of the service are being shifted to the new plans which have Fair Usage Policy applicable on them!

If we are to believe this report, plans are being migrated already and users would soon find themselves in a limbo!

The report further claims that the step has been taken by BSNL to meet the requirements of the rural markets which is becoming the focus of our beloved politicians.

Free broadband and internet access promises made by the government means that they cannot provide it to the customers in cities.

We would wait for an official confirmation.

But here is the thing. If you are a BSNL Broadband customer, keep yourself update on the plan they have put you on. I have a feeling we are going to see massive bills getting delivered to the users who could not find about this new development at the right time.
