Wi-Fi users in India required to register themselves with their ISPs!
Indian department of telecommunications has announced that internet users in the country would have to register themselves with their service providers if they are using Wi-Fi on their connections.
The aim is to have a centralized authentication procedure for these customers.
They have given a time period of 60 days to the ISPs to complete this procedure.
Insecure Wi-Fi connections have become a nuisance for the security agencies in the country as they are often used by anti-social elements to communicate online.
