Google wants to enter the 3G race in India!
Business Standard has reported that Google might be looking for a partner to enter the 3G race in the Indian market!
The company could partner an existing telecom company in India to apply for a license in the upcoming auction.
Google has declined to comment on this speculation.
Indian government has allowed foreign companies to participate in the auction process. Google however already has Indian offices located all over India.
Google has good reasons to enter the market passively. They are the company behind the Android mobile platform. And they rely heavily on revenues generated through mobile advertising.
