India now has more than 500 million telecom customers
Indian market continues to grow at an amazing rate when it comes to telecom and mobile services.
The country now has 500 million customers of landline and mobile services.
India reached this milestone in September this year.
At the end of September month, India had 509 million telephone subscribers. Around 472 million of these are mobile users.
Indian market say addition of 15 million new mobile subscribers in the month of September.
TRAI said in a statement that around 43.5 percent of India’s population now have telephones.
