Hayai Broadband: Our VDSL based prices would be cheaper than MTNL
Hayai Broadband is yet to launch their broadband services in the Indian market.
The company has now revealed that they are also working on launching VDSL based services in some areas in the future.
MTNL has just launched their own VDSL powered plans in the market. They are promising speeds of up to 20mbps on this network.
Hayai has just stated that their plans on this service would definitely be cheaper than the prices being charged by MTNL Broadband.
We are hoping that Hayai delivers what they are promising to us right now. If they manage to cover decent parts of the country by the end of 2010, we can surely see the revolution we have been waiting for in the broadband sector in India.

I think your site just promoting the nonsense thing of this Hayai Broadband. Because still they are not able to launch their service than how can they compete with old and established MTNL Broadband which has almost 70% of Broadband market.
VDSL Broadband 1st introduces by MTNL and they can offer more cheapest and affordable plan if any competitor will come, Your so called BB provider Hayai is just announcement system nothing els on ground level.
I sas 2 or 3 news just on this site(no other site indulge to promote Hayai BB) on Hayai BB.
Your site is reputed than why you guys doing this??

we are not promoting or marking for hayai broadband.
hayai broadband was announced on india broadband forum which is a sister site of TW.
http://broadbandforum.in/hayai-broadband/
the promoter of the service has been posting updates on the india broadband forum for months now.
they are the first company in the country with a solid plan to bring the broadband revolution in the indian market.
and they are probably the first company in india to directly interact with customers before launching their plans and services.

Vijay, I thank you for your skepticism. You may not be aware, but setting up any business takes some time, and setting up an ISP is a nightmare.
With our VDSL services, it is more likely that this would be in co-operation with MTNL rather than in competition with them.
In todays meeting (when the decision was made that we want to participate in VDSL services), the discussion of MTNL's new Rs9000/18GB plan came up, and more to the point, we couldn't figure out why they are restricting the speed to 20Mbits, when VDSL is capable of 50Mbits – and VDSL2 even more. If they want to make a 20Mbits plan, we had to wonder why they wouldn't just use ADSL2+.
But be that as it may, we are ready to roll and will be launching our first services in a matter of days. I look forward to posting a variety of speed tests and screenshots of downloads from abroad to showcase what we're capable of.
While this whole thing of properly fast broadband may sound "too good to be true" to you, if it so happens that you live in Mumbai, I would be delighted to offer you a connection come 1st January.

@Mathew and operamaniac,Thanks a lot for your reply. If Hayai Broadband bring such a good or cheapest plan from MTNL than people will enjoy this competition because still on Broadband front no one can beat MTNL in Mumbai, so all the upcoming developments will be quite interesting :)
Well just one of my MTNL sources said that their 50 mbps plan on VDSL is ready and they ready to ofter that any time and from their VDSL unit some eamil are sent to their High End users for customized plan offerings, right now with 20mbps plan they just check the market reactions.
Lets see

Its good that there is competition….because broadband in India really sucks…………..Good competition will reduce broadband price in India…..Last decade was about Mobile revolution in India making mobile services so cheap that even people living in rural and remote places could afford mobile connectivity….Let us all hope this decade ushers in Broadband revolution in India with the emergence of new and competitive players like Hayai Broadband….May the strength be with you "Hayai Broadband"
