actually it should be compulsory like visa,passport,etc
because it is very useful in checking mobile number of anybody who seems to be fraud ,in criminal case etc.

It is very important to get the address details of the particular number. There is nothing like privacy in that. It should be taken care that the customers are able to know who is calling them and from where? Yes, it is possible to know the state but that is not enough. The number sharik ariff is getting, I have searched and it is from Kolkatta and the network provider is BSNL.
