Reliance is getting bigger

Clearly. There is no doubt about that. In one of my Reliance and influence on Indian Telecom I had mentioned that it is a matter of time when they undercut the costs to others disadvantage. I can claim that I read the future right in every respect, if this Media Report is to be believed.

VSNL is running in loses because of the shift in ILD traffic from BSNL, BSNL has awarded the contract to Reliance based on the cheapest call rates for carriage. No wonder VSNL sees red whenever there is any mention about cost cutting. Poor sods. They seriously need to breathe some fresh air. Whatever goes on behind the scenes is never revealed. Yet this is damning enough. VSNL needs to wake up to challenges ahead indeed.
