Sify Ping Graph

This is a sample ping graphs of the 2 servers of Sify I have to access to get the net connection. The text based report is the local server that connects me to the authentication server that comes on the graphical plot. I got the local connection fixed that gives me pretty much the perfect pinging. The authentication server which I believe actually allows me to connect to the internet on the other hand is behaving like shit since 2 days. Every 5 minutes it goes down for 30-40 seconds which means my net cannot even crawl. Yahoo! Messenger does not even disconnect in these 30-40 seconds so I am most of the times not even sure whether the other person is not responding or he is not even getting my messages! Funny thing broadband is in India.

I am a resident of Hyderabad and I too have taken a broadband connection from sify. I too am experiencing the same problems with sify. My connection frequently gets disconnected like in every 2-3 min. And the bandwidth I get during the day when the connection is up is pathetic, its like 200-300 Bytes per second. I have even made complaints to both the local cable guy and sify but nothing has improved.

Secondly, the local cable guy uses hubs instead of switches. So there is virtually no privacy as any one can capture and read the data packets.

Te obove lines howing the ping time of 1ms shoud be replaced with ‘Request Time out’ , because that is what most of the time you will be seeing when you tae sify broadband. Very poor service

I am Anatomist, working as Prof & Head in the Department of Anatomy, PGIMER, Chandigarh [India]. I have been trying to contact your person for a new broadband connection but in vain. Everytime I request him (Mr Bhullar), he said today it will be done but for the last two months neither he came nor send his person to start the connection. Could you please look into the matter.

    Thanks
