The net came up at 7 pm (9 hours downtime).
Mr. Ashwini says its still temporary.
The problem seems to be of power supply.
I suggested take a line out of my house which he accepted as a great alternative.
So, I have done the best I can. Lets see, power out of my house will make the net reliable or not…

10 days in this month. 5 days I have had problems with my net connection (2 days with more than 10 hrs of downtime). 2 days I was out of town so I am not sure about them. 50% reliability! Wow… Amazing… Superb…

Today…
The net is down since 10 am.
Yesterday it was down for 3 hours.

Your guys claim that only my line in the entire sector has so much problem so it must be my PC which is causing the trouble. Well the problem only occur during the day time. My pc is on for last 3 days including nights and this problem only occur during the day. So perhaps my PC does something to Sify’s network during the day time! How convinient.

I have told your guys to replace my smps or my network card if they think the problem is my PC. I don’t know what else I have to do… You had to send ur representative to panchkula to get my backup working which they CLAIMED was always there since I got the connection. What now?

I had to pay the linesman 100 bucks to give me spare wire of around 5-6 meters coz they left too little of it when they originally installed. This is Sify.

Seriously. I don’t think this is good. Your CTO want to save money by using LAN based system on my network, that’s not my headache. If fiber cables make my net more reliable, he has to give me that. I am not falling for the marketing ploy of your local representative to pay for the fiber cable coz I was not told that the service would suck in the ordinary connectivity. I did not pay 3500 installation for a service that can’t keep me online continuosly for a week, and I don’t pay 1100 bucks a month for this type of connectivity. I have already lost one job coz of this unreliability. I can’t survive more project loss. Please, get this problem fixed for permanent. 20 days before you lose me. You took 10 days to get the backup up. Next comes the entire network.
