The honeymoon period lasted for a day…

After the power supply was taken from my house, the net worked fine for around 30 hours. A new day and it has taken a beating already. In the morning, the Sify server was down for around 15 minutes. And its 10 am and the network is again down. The power from my house is working because I have tried resetting the supplies from my house hoping the network would start working again. But little use. I am sitting offline waiting for the Sify linesman to arrive with a new excuse.
This Blog I think has a bright future. Everyday, they give me new stuff to write about! Long live my Sify broadband dilemma…
I spent my whole day getting my net fixed. Maybe you guys can spend 10 minutes reading this whole mail.
Stats for this month:
15 days
9 days net has been down for more than 4 hours.
It took 7.5 hours for your local guys to get my net working.
It took around 20 phone calls from me to your guys to do that.
It took me going to your CTO’s shop 2 times today to do that.
And when I tell this to Mr. Manpreet, all he can offer is compensatory packages at the end of the month to compensate for my lost time. Well, that is pretty much obvious that you will have to give me compensatory package at the end of the month. But I sure need a working network to utilize that compensatory package.
I don’t get it. this is not important to you how late you fix consumer’s problems.
It does not matter to you what bottlenecks come in way to get the problems fixed?
It does not mattter to you, how to get the problems solved for permanenet.
All that matter is that probem has to get fixed, it does not matter it takes 7 hrs, 20 hrs or 2 days.
This seriously sickens me. I give you facts and you reply back… Call us back when there is any further problem (mr. manpreet)…
Well, considering the condition Sify is in, it wont take long for that to happen and for me to call you again. Considering, after 7 hrs now that the local network is finally working… The local authentication server is down. And I still cant get back online.
Bravo. Sify Broadband is really setting some benchmarks for future services…
Hi,
The honeymoon period lasted for around 30 hours after I got back online after almost a downtime of 2 days.
The net went down at 10am. I am still waiting at 4:15 pm for it to work again.
No one except Mr. Manpreet is available on the phone.
Mr. Ashwini, responsible for Sify in Panchkula. His phone is not responding since almost a week now.
The local linesman came at around 11. told me he will be back in 1/2 hour with necessary spares at around 12:30pm. No idea when that 1/2 hour get over…
He actually beamed with pride that they are getting an online UPS for this particular line. As if he was doing me a big favor. Well, these are the things that should have been here in place before Sify actually started looking for customers. There is something called a testing phase… I guess Sify never had any testing done in real world scenario.
I think your CTOs find providing internet services funny. Your linesman was found sitting in the office of the CTO when I went myself to that shop (in sector 4 not sector 6 coz the CTO in sector 6 claim he is no longer related to Sify broadband in any ways) because no one arrived to fix my net. And he was sitting their and not fixing my net because he needed an smps to fix the power problem. And he had no smps present with him and he was waiting for Mr. Ashwini/Mr. Sondhi who both were not present at the shop. Even the phone calls to these two individuals went unanswered. When I asked the guys sitting in that cable shop abt when Mr. Sondhi comes back. The answer comes - no particular time… It can be 6 pm or 7 pm. This was at 3:45 pm 5 hrs after my net went out.
So I am supposed to wait for my net to get fixed until these 2 guys get back from their lunch (that can go on till 7 in the evening) and provide the cable guy the replacement power supply. Till then I am as good as screwed.
Maybe you need to educate these people. Give them a particular time period in which they HAVE to fix a complain. They don’t lose anything. I am the one who is losing. I am spending more time calling you guys than I spend working. My parents are worried abt the way I talk to ur guys which I cannot help, coz they certainly find some fun in the way I suffer the disgusting services I get from them.
Whatever… But this certainly is not funny.
Does not actually interests me much… I need my net to work. It’s the only thing that matter for me… And it is at the moment is not working.
Regards,
Sushubh
