Tata Indicom launches Non-Stop Mobile scheme
The CDMA market is practically dominated by Reliance and Tata is slowing trying to crawl back with their new schemes and offers. The latest is this new scheme introduced by the Tata Indicom division of the company. The company launched the Non-Stop Mobile service for their mobile products and services yesterday in which a user can buy a handset and a connection and receive free incoming calls for a period of two years, without recharging regularly.
Dr Naresh Malhan, President, Operations, Tata Teleservices said in a statement about this new service offering: “With ‘non-stop mobile’, there is no monthly commitment and subscribers are free to recharge with any recharge voucher (starting at Rs 50) and use the value till they desire, up to the entire value period of the mobile. The recharge vouchers come with 100 per cent talk timeâ€.
The company also unveiled four new handsets in color and black and white range. These are named Indicom Star, Indicom Ace, Samsung Neo, and Kyocera Prisma and are priced at Rs 3,999, Rs 2,499, Rs 2,999, and Rs 3,249, respectively. The company is offering two services in these packages. One is that two pre-paid mobile subscribers of Tata can talk absolutely free of cost for two years. The other is that users will not have to pay for keeping their activation of incoming calls.
Tata is currently serving in 20 circles with their services covering the entire country.

I can buy 2 Tata Indicom Cell Phones 1 prepaid and 1 postpaid in Bangalore.I can send the post paid connection to chandigarh to one of my frnd lets say “A” and keep the prepaid with him.Now according to your scheme local TATA-TATA is free and Roaming incoming calls are also free.Hence If I call my frnd “A”,which is a postpaid connection taken from bangalore from my prepaid connection taken in bangalore,then I’d not be charge a single penny as TATA-TATA local is free.At the same time my frnd “A” would not be charged a single penny for receiving my calls from bangalore to chandigarh as ROAMING charges are also free.

I would like to know if there actually exists any such offer, and if yes, i would be interested in getting the details.

ofcourse yes! there is a scheme of tata idicom postpaid service which can provide you free STD. believe it or not. i use this service. go for Business Silver plan. activate free tata to tata on the no. you will be keeping with you and activate free incoming roaming scheme on the other no.

I took two Tata Indicom Non-Stop Mobile in october 2005.
I got both mobiles recharged when my balance was Rs.30/-
Initially there was no charge for incoming and outgoing calls between both Tata Mobiles perhaps upto march-07.
Now this is being charged and my balance is reducing on every outgoing calls between both Tata Mobiles.
Please rectify the mistake and credit the amount charged on both Mobiles for outgoing calls between both Tata Mobiles.

I have 2 years tata to tata unlimited call scheme and it’s period is going to finish 7 feb.now i want to take any shceme which is in tata either pre-paid or post paid in which i don’t want to pay for tata to tata calls and also i don’t need to pay monthly recharge.please suggest me any scheme.

I took a Tata indicom prepaid life time sim, and recharged it with 499 plan inorder to make free std calls to tata mobiles in Andhrapradesh, and also 69 plan to make other networks @ 1re. But plan 69 is activated and 499 is not yet activated. I had done both on the same day, and at the same time. can i know wat is the problem and is it valid with 499 plan to make STD calls free.

is tata indicom launching any scheme similar to that launched by reliance(rd 9800 communicator wth 18 months free std calling).
i m in a hurry 2 purchase a set wth std scheme.
m abt 2 go 4 reliance,but can wait in case tata launches a similar scheme wthin a week.
