Tata Indicom introduces newer tariffs for their Walky subscribers
More good news for the mobile and telephone customers in India. After a slew of new offerings for the prepaid mobile consumers, Tata Indicom has now announced newer tariff packages for their Walky customers. The company has launched five new postpaid tariff plans for its Walky subscribers across 20 circles.
These plans are targeting both home and business customers are the company aims to expand its user base in the market. The new plans for the home users are Home-2-Mobile 249 and Home-2-Mobile 349. And the plans for the business segment users are City 299, Silver 499, and Tata 600.
Home-2-Mobile 249 is targeted at users who want to keep their telephone bills low. Home-2-Mobile 349 would offer a monthly rental of Rs. 349 and provide both STD and ISD services. For the business users, City 299 plan would let them play a flat fee of 50 paisa per minute for local calls to any mobiles and fixed phones.
The more expensive plan Silver 499 plan would enable the users to pay an effective rental of just Rs. 29 as it includes free usage worth Rs 470. Tata 600 is for heavy users as it offers 2000 minutes of free calls to Tata Indicom phones. Tata Indicom is offering these new packages to all their existing and potential new customers.
Darryl Green, chief executive officer (CEO), Tata Teleservices said in a statement about their new product offerings: “The telecom industry in India has been witnessing a growth in the mobile and subscribers tend to call mobile numbers more compared to fixed number.â€
