Reliance Infocomm offers lifetime rental free post paid plan

After launching bonanza schemes for the prepaid users of mobile connections, it seems that the turn of the postpaid connection users has arrived. Reliance Infocomm is the first of the block who have launched their lifetime rental free post paid plan for their customers. The plan is called Plan Life900 and it would require the customer to pay a flat onetime fee of Rs. 900. They would then just be required to pay Rs. 50 every month for the CLIP charges.

This scheme arrives just days after almost all the mobile service providers in the country announced lifetime incoming free prepaid connections. Reliance is also providing a similar plan for their prepaid customers. The company assured that no other fees would be levied for users going in for the Plan Life900.

Mr S.P. Shukla, President, Wireless, Reliance Infocomm said in a statement on this newly launched scheme: “The calling rate to Reliance IndiaMobile, Reliance fixed wireless phone (FWP) and fixed line is just 99 paisa-a-minute within the State on the plan.” Other charges are calls to other local phones including fixed landline phones at Rs. 1.99. Same rates apply on STDs to any phone in the country.

These customers would further have the option to get cheap rates on calling local mobile phones at 99 paisa-a-minute if they pay an extra Rs. 25 per month. SMS charges are Rs. 1 for local and Rs. 2 for national.
