Airtel launches ‘One Airtel’ brand name
Indian telecom major Airtel has announced their decision to consolidate all telecom businesses under an integrated structure to be called “One Airtel”. The company has further announced the appointment of Manoj Kohli as president of this unified management structure.
Bharti chairperson Sunil Mittal added in a statement on this new initiative: “The new structure will help us transition towards a customer focused organization while building sustainability and scalability to seamlessly manage 100 million customers and beyond.â€
Mittal added that the company has decided to go for this new approach to enable strong corporate governance whilst ensuring operational freedom, through functional and matrix reporting relationships.
They have set themselves the aim of becoming the most admired brand in India by 2010. The company provides mobile, fixed line and broadband services in India.

Most admired company ? First, get your friggin customer support in line !. I got a new prepaid connection which has not been activated even after 24 hrs. When i call up 121, it says please contact 98900 98900. When I call up this number, it says the number doesn't exist ..!! Mr. Mittal, you dont become a customer focused organization, by deceit and screwing your customers.

I am really very confused regarding which prepaid connection i should take. But from my experience of 2yrs of having a prepaid connection i have observed that the various schemes like fulltalktime etc are only beneficial upto a certain limit. I am disappointed by the bad service provided by the cusomer care. Some of them talk rudely & donot consider my problems.
