Modern Day Satyagraha or me just being stupid?

When I started the Sify Broadband Blog, I just wanted to take out my frustrations on my ISP. It mostly constituted my mails to them so it’s not very interesting to read. Later I decided to get it into Google for other people to check out in case they were trying to get Sify Broadband for their work/home requirement. And apparently I did pretty well.
I got loads of hits and some personal mails too, both from current customers agreeing to my comments about Sify. Also some potential customers, whom I advised to check with existing customers before taking the connection, then there were some people who just recommended me to go for an alternative connection (which does not exist in my location) or switch to dialup. I resisted the advice. I survived for 5 months, suffered a lot on my last job. Even my parents told me to get a reliance connection and leave Sify for good. But I sustained. Called them a thousand times, went to the offices, argued till I was dead tired and well had some heated discussions too. In the end, it seems the efforts have had some positive outcome. This month has been the best ever! 2 days with minor problems in 20 days. This is pretty solid considering all the other guys I know are jealous of my current connectivity. I get a call from Sify people every alternate day verifying the status of the connection (even when they can check the same from the logs!). It has been good…
Now, I am not sure if this condition lasts for long or not! So I really cannot simply close this Blog. But I would like you to keep my updated on what your ISP is doing with you! Maybe we can start something for you…
