Sify cannot do anything if your CTO charges you atrocious service charges!

This is from my dear friend Ajay from Bangalore. His CTO charges 200 bucks on a package worth 300 bucks. That comes to around 67% of the costing of the product purchased as service charges! No this amount is not fixed. It’s proportional. He is required to pay more than 3500 for an account worth 2500! And this is something that Sify Broadband people are aware of! As they reply to this particular customer:
On service charges Sify does not have any control and the CTO charges it based on the cost he has incurred.
And later they practically make fun of the customer when they sign off by saying:
Assuring you of our best services at all times.
Now what are the possible costs that could have occurred to the CTO when the net has been down for more than a month? That’s what happened to Ajay, whose net was down for more than a month when he complained to the Sify chief customer people after all of his efforts with the local CTO failed! This is the service for which Sify’s CTO charges 67% of the monthly charges.
These CTOs make my CTO look like a very very decent guy. I think I should call him and say a thank you…
And Sify should be ashamed of themselves to have no say in this matter. This seems to make me believe that Sify’s CTOs are paid little or nothing for maintaining the network that serves Sify’s customers…

SOme people are nuts here,… im no indian.. just some dude from Europe and my mouth falls open when i read these things and people just accpt it..
Where i coem from we settle it on a different way, they just ask for it… so does my cable guy knows..he doenst even come near to me after some trick he did to me

Doesnt Sify understand that a b******t CTO is the best way to lose customers. I got an offer to possibly use a subscriber unit . Guess what it costs – between 50000 to 1 lakh !! How many people would want to spend 1 lakh for an internet connection. With the new IEEE standards it is possible to connect wirelessly and with this,they can eliminate cables and the CTO Pestilence. yeah i have heard the 600 bucks joke too… complained to sify who took care of the CTO. and i also got the same thing from the CTO to get the direct connection that costs 50K. I simply laughed at his face.
