RCoVL collaborates with Finland-based F-Secure Corporation

Finland-based F-Secure Corporation has gone into a collaborative deal with Indian telecom provider Reliance Communication Ventures Ltd (RCoVL). F-Secure as a part of this deal would provide the company a range of security applications for their internet services.

Risto Siilasmaa, president and CEO, F-Secure said during the press meeting about their collaboration with one of the India’s leading telecom service provider: “We view India as one of the fastest growing markets for internet and data connectivity in the next one decade. The country is also one of the fastest growing telecom markets and we are looking at meeting the nation’s requirements.”

Reliance Communications would now be installing F-Secure’s Service Platform for consumers. This would enable the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to offer their residential and small office customers a complete security solution at the grass root level.

Reliance along with F-Secure would be providing two packages – Reliance PC Protect Basic and Family Packs. These would come with a range of security applications including anti-virus, spyware, firewall, parental control, and spam control systems.
