Aircel collaborates with Roamware for roaming services
Aircel Cellular has announced that they are collaborating with California-based Roamware who provide roaming services for over 200 mobile operator networks.
Aircel would now be using Roamware’s ‘short codes’ and ‘smart call assistance’ to provide advanced roaming services to their customers.
K.V.P. Baskar, CEO of Aircel added that their technology would help them to allow their subscribers to continue using abbreviated codes assigned by the carrier and to access local services such as voicemail, directory service, customer care, and convenience services such as taxis and hotels.
He said: “We have chosen a suite of solutions from Roamware that will support our continued growth, by offering the best and most flexible seamless service enhancements. The technology will provide enhanced convenience for visiting customers using the Aircel networks in the region.”
