Siemens collaborating with Huawei 3 Com with India in mind
Siemens Ltd is collaborating with Huawei 3 Com which itself is a joint venture between Chinese Telecom major Huawei and US-based 3 Com US. The two companies plan to offer networking solutions for the Indian enterprises.
The aim of this collaboration is to capture a major pie of the Rs 4,200 crore Indian networking market.
Siemens Executive Vice-President Mr Peter Gartenberg said in a statement on this deal: “The alliance will offer networking solutions to the entire market spectrum to meet specific requirement at a highly attractive total cost of ownership.â€
As part of this collaboration, Siemens Ltd will integrate the hardware and networking solutions offered by Huawei 3 Com.
Gartenberg added: “There is a huge demand for networks that can carry increasing data traffic and high quality voice and video over IP.â€
