BSNL further reduces charges for their OneIndia plan
BSNL is apparently disappointed looking at the consumer response to their recently launched OneIndia plan. The government owned Telecom Company has now lowered its rental to Rs 225 a month from Rs 299 for the fixed line services.
In addition, BSNL is also offering free calls to the interested customers. These new tariffs were announced at a meeting of the GSM Association in the presence of Communication and IT Minister, Dayanidhi Maran.
BSNL originally charged a monthly rental of Rs 299 with call charges fixed at Rs. 1 to any phone in the country. The general rental of a BSNL telephone is Rs 180 but it includes 30 free calls in a month.
The new tariffs include 25 free calls in a month. Local calls would be charged Re one for a three-minute call.
