Samsung brings world’s slimmest mobile phones to Indian mobile market
Move over Moto Razr, Samsung has now launched the slimmest mobile phones in the Indian market. The company has launched their ‘The Ultra Edition Series’ in the Indian market as they aim to challenge Motorola range of slim mobile phones.
Samsung Senior Vice President Ihn-Chul Chung spoke on these new products: “The Ultra Edition 6.9, is the world’s slimmest bar phone with just 6.9mm thickness, 2-megapixel camera, MP3 player, direct TV Out Function, 80MB memory features.â€
There are other products in this series, which include the Ultra Edition 9.9 and The Ultra Edition 12.9. These phones would be available locally in the market from next month.
Chung added: “The Ultra Edition series illustrates Samsung’s sensitivity to consumer needs by delivering mobile phones with deceptively discreet but stylish exteriors while embedding world leading technology features inside.â€
The company also revealed plans to invest further in their manufacturing unit located in Haryana to boost production.
