Star Group finally collaborates with Dish TV
This is good news for the Indian consumer who is looking forward to getting himself a DTH connection to get rid of the hassles, which comes with cable television and the crappy service providers.
Star Group has announced that they are sorting out their differences with Zee owned Dish TV, which was the first private direct-to-home service provider in India.
With this, Dish TV has already started broadcasting channels from the Star Group. These include STAR Movies, STAR Plus, National Geographic and History Channel.
This collaboration was made necessary by the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), which recently ordered the Star group to beam their bouquet at a price of Rs.27 on the Dish TV platform.
