Project Rapid Growth: BPL Mobile to invest big on expansion
BPL Mobile has announced that they would be investing as much as Rs. 100 crores on upgrades and strengthening their network.
This call this investment plan ‘Project Rapid Growth’ and it is aimed at ramping up network infrastructure, launching new value added services, upgradation of the call centre and rejuvenation of the brand in Mumbai.
BPL Mobile would also be adding another state-of-the-art main switching centre (MSC) and establish 300 new cell sites.
In addition, they would also be investing to bring out the latest value added services, enhance data capability by making the whole network EDGE enabled and also implement the latest version of intelligent network (IN) platform with Camel Phase III for its pre-paid product.
